Austin Zweifel is a studio artist focusing in abstract painting and light and space installations. Austin is a graduate of Asbury University School of Art and Design.
With His work, he looks to find spaces for the viewer to find pause to be able to have to space to look within to find meaning. Austin’s work seeks to be read subjectively by the viewer, to find the meaning from their experiences rather than the work becoming objective.
Austin’s work is influenced by Light and Space artists James Turrell, Peter Alexander, and abstractionists Richard Diedenkorn, and Wassily Kandinsky.
